Lebanon Football defeats Rolla 28-12
Tonight the Lebanon Football team kicked off their season against the Rolla Bulldogs. The Lebanon football team had a lot of things working for them in this game. On defense Lebanon had a lot of big plays including 2 interceptions from Dylan Bradshaw, and Austin Knight. Tackles were lead by Austin Evans with 12. They also had many decisive plays to end drives and recovered a fumble in the end zone in the second quarter to keep the score in favor of Lebanon. The yellowjackets held the bulldogs to only 240 yards. On the offensive side of the ball the jackets had a great night. On the ground the jackets rushed for 258 yards. Brock West lead the rushing attack with 184 yards, and then followed by QB Hayden Brackett with 47 Yards. Elza Evans and Adam Nuel also got a few rushing yards as well. Hayden Brackett also threw 8-10 passing for 84 yards. Overall that puts the Yellowjackets at 342 yards for the game. The Yellowjackets are excited after the win and will look to use that momentum to go into their week two game against Waynesville at home. They look forward to breaking in that new turf at Jacket Stadium.
