The storm does not slow Lebanon Football down

Tonight the Lebanon Yellowjackets defeated Camdenton 46-21. The half time score was 19-15z The Lebanon Yellowjackets had many things going for them. On the offensive side of the ball the Jackets were lead by senior Brock West with an amazing 312 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Jackets offense also had scores by Elza Evans (1 touchdown) and Hayden Brackett pass to Jeff Plake. The Yellowjacket offensive line needed much praise due to great blocking on all run plays and pass plays. On the defensive side of the ball the Yellowjackets got a little slow start in the first half but picked their game back up as soon as the second half began. Great plays by many players stopped the high powered offense of Camdenton. This win was the 5th win in a row for Lebanon against camdenton but the first win with such a big difference and also the first for the traveling Highway 5 Trophy that these teams started this season. This is a huge win for Lebanon due to the fact that this rivalry is not just bitter but because for 16 years before 2008 Lebanon never defeated the Lakers and now the have won the last 5. The Yellowjackets start back on Monday getting ready for the Glendale Falcons on Friday at Jacket Stadium.
